It would be helpful if you could pan with a hotkey instead of clicking on the pan nav button.

Especially since so many user researchers would be familiar with Figma, Sketch, XD, LucidChart, etc... using the same functionality would be a wise UX decision. Middle mouse button, space bar, a potentially keyed option. Feels weird being on a canvas and not being able to quickly navigate around in the same way as all those other products.
